Founded in 2011, Arizona Microcredit Initiative has quickly grown to become a leading microfinance institution in Phoenix.
AMI was created with the vision for an organization that could help entrepreneurs become financially self-sufficient and contribute to their local economies.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are dedicated to that original vision by providing underserved entrepreneurs with access to business instruction and capital.
These are previously published cumulative figures; the source does not give a reporting cutoff. The 2026 impact report is still a draft and contains conflicting loan totals, so these figures should not be read as current-year results. Its education section records 22 workshops in 2025 and 2 in 2026, pending final approval.
